I first stepped into a CKO class in Long Island at 25 years old, I’m now 39 years old and I’m still in love with CKO. I’ve been to NYC/Brooklyn classes in my travels and now Jersey City! I lost 32 lbs this year in 2024, and I’m reclaiming my power and my confidence in my fitness. Although I can’t always keep up with the intensity of the class, it’s me vs. ME, and what matters to me is remaining consistent and knowing I’m committed to my movement. Jersey City coaches are friendly, and they’re welcoming. The energy levels are A1, and after I finished my 1 month Groupon, I just signed up for the year. I’ve been going to CKO Jersey City for longer than I can remember - what started off as a way to escape the basic gym workout soon became the place to see friends, get an excellent workout and disconnect from work for an hour. All the trainers are excellent - they have different styles and different choices of music - which makes no class feel the same especially if you’re there 2-3 times a week. I started training with Charlie two years ago outside of the CKO classes. Over the past two years, I’ve been able to see SO MUCH progress from these sessions - getting stronger, building more confidence and doing things I would have never thought I could do. If you are wondering if personal training is right for you, I’d highly recommend giving it a try!

I’ve been a member at CKO JC for about a year and it’s been an incredibly positive experience. The classes are a nice balance of cardio, weight training and kick boxing. Each of the trainers bring a different style but all are talented and dedicated to creating a dynamic and impactful work out. The workout and music are curated by each instructor and are always changing which keeps things fresh. The class never feels like you’re just going through the motions. The facility is clean and organized and equipped with everything you need (things like wraps and gloves are available for purchase). In 11 months I’ve lost 25 pounds, and increased my muscle mass and endurance. It’s fueled better eating and sleeping habits at a time when I felt very much stuck in a rut. I encourage anyone who needs a boost to give CKO a try.

Love this place!! The workout is amazing and you get a different one every day. So it is always fun and you get a full body workout and let’s not forget how stress releasing is punching those bags. The hole team there is amazing and the trainers take their time to help you improve and perfect the boxing punches and exercises.

Ive done all different kinds of workouts and boutique chains. CKO Jersey City truly leaves me fully fulfilled in my fitness goals. Everyone in the gym no matter your fitness level gets something out of the workout. I started in 6 week weight-loss program and never left. I get strength training, core work, and 🔥 pumped up energy every class I take. Definitely worth a visit!
