I've had a great experience since joining last year - the staff are friendly, there's a good variety of equipment, and it's not too cramped when I go (except maybe Monday nights which seem to get packed!). I also train with Sandra who's been absolutely great! She understands body mechanics well and how to target exercises to address problems/focus areas. I have some chronic pain issues and working with her has definitely reduced them and made me feel stronger and healthier. Definitely recommend!

Awesome gym. Equipment and machines are in excellent condition. The staff is very nice and friendly. Classes and trainers are top notch. Shout out to JR (boxing class).

Pros: - Pretty good medium sized gym - Friendly staff - Culture- most people were there to work out, not much selfie taking on the floor - Clean bathrooms Cons: - Towels had a slight cheesy smell to them - Cancellation woes: I cancelled my membership because I was moving across the city to an area without LiveFit sites. You have to remember to cancel ahead of time and before your monthly payment goes in (ex. Youʻre charged Sept 1 for the next month Oct 1-31). Once youʻre charged itʻs difficult to dispute. The manager Bailey said he'd have to remind himself in a few weeks to cancel the upcoming payment, and for some reason wasn't able to cancel future payments on the spot. A month later I found another charge to my credit card and it turned out Bailey was on vacation and the reminder to cancel didn't go through in time. I let this one fly as I was planning to be in town a few times that month and could use the gym to hop into. Then a couple months later I found a $50 charge on my credit card which Bailey said was their annual fee that he would work to refund. Again, not sure why an annual fee was still in place when my membership was supposedly already cancelled. Looking at other reviews, I'm going to be keeping an eye out for any other charges in the future. Definitely recommend email communication so that there's a paper trail to refer to.

I joined Live Fit shortly after moving to SF in the summer of 2022. It has been one of the best parts of my SF life and feels like a second home in a way --- the employees greet me, by name, and genuinely care about me and my fitness experience. The gym itself is always clean, organized, and never too crowded. I can always do the workout I planned and often spend time post-workout in the stretch room to decompress. Briana and Bailey are so friendly and attentive, always enthusiastic about helping me, whether it is recommending massage therapists, or getting my guests signed in. I have been taking Mat Pilates classes with Chanel for over a year and enjoy it every time. She is such a confident and calming instructor who leads a challenging but relaxing class. As a former college athlete, I have been a part of many gyms and can confidently say this has been the best experience. The facility is amazing and the people are even better.

I've only been a member for a bit here now but I'm loving it so far. It's not usually packed at the time I go so there's always machines available, and I love taking classes with Kate, she has great energy and always leave in a good mood.
