Our experience with Gymcarolina has been so positive! Everyone on staff has been helpful and really kind. In particular, my daughter’s coach, Miss Abbey, has been incredible. This is a tot aged group class and yet Miss Abbey still does a great job of addressing individual needs and meeting each student where they are. We have felt that both safety and fun are top of mind and my two year old has already learned so much. Highly recommend!

We have loved our experience at Gymcarolina! The staff is always kind and helpful, but I want to give a shout out to Dominic and Ansley. When my daughter, who is only 3, was having a hard time getting started with class (really wanted to cling to mama), Dominic noticed she was struggling and sat with Hannah and helped her through warm ups. Both he and Ansley were so patient with her, and once she got comfortable she was perfectly fine!

We've had three sessions at Gymcarolina with 3 different coaches. The coaches are SO different in skill and ability. I get the sense that the coaches who've been there a long time are well-known and are very good - kind with the kids, know their stuff gymnastics-wise. The other two coaches we had were, at best, meh, and the other blatantly ignored the children in her class. It was pretty upsetting to watch. These are kids that have no previous experience and needed guidance. Her teaching method was to tell the kids what to do - no demonstration, no walking them through it. Then she'd stare off into the gym. This went on for the duration of the session. We hung on, hoping it was just a one-off. In addition to the inconsistent teachers, safety does not seem to be a concern at all to the gym. There are 15-20 classes of kids going at a time. During one class, I saw three different classes of kids sharing the foam pit - one cartwheeling into it, one jumping from the trampoline into it, and one climbing the rope above it. I was waiting for kids to collide the whole time. And during one of our last classes there, during warm up, one of the boys classes was squished into a tiny area to make more space for one of the older girls' classes doing their routines. The gym should book fewer kids/classes at a time but I get the feeling that they really don't care.

We love it! My daughter has been with them for 3 and a half years! Great coaches and they truly care about each child. Couldn’t say anything negative!
