  • Attentive Staff: Staff at all levels are present and available to support members.
  • Detailed Amenities: Offers numerous helpful details and amenities throughout the facility, particularly in the locker rooms.

However, customer reviews also highlight significant concerns:

  • Rising Membership Prices: Reports of consistently rising membership prices without a perceived increase in value.
  • Lack of 24-Hour Access: The gym no longer offers 24-hour access, which was previously available pre-COVID.
  • Declining Cleanliness: Concerns about the cleanliness of the sauna, dry sauna, and hot tubs, which are described as "absolutely disgusting."
  • Overpriced: Customers feel the gym is overpriced relative to the value it provides.

Customers appreciate the excellent customer service and attentive staff, which create a welcoming and supportive environment. The detailed amenities and helpful touches throughout the facility are also valued.

However, significant concerns are raised about the rising membership prices and the lack of 24-hour access. The declining cleanliness of the sauna, dry sauna, and hot tubs is a major point of contention, with customers expressing strong dissatisfaction.

The perception that the gym is overpriced and not delivering sufficient value is a recurring theme in the reviews.

Life Time South Jordan is presented as a gym with excellent customer service but facing concerns about rising membership prices and declining facility cleanliness. Potential members should carefully consider these issues before joining. The gym is urged to address the cleanliness concerns and reconsider its pricing and access policies to improve customer satisfaction.

Customer Reviews

I love their approach to customer concierge. The employed at every level are very present and available to support the clients a.k. Members. They are friendly and service oriented-- one can tell right at-- walking in the front --door guest reception. Even in the Locker rooms there are so many little helpful things, Super presentation everywhere you turn...all about the "gold" in the details. Not going to say what they are you just have to come see and try it out for yourself.

I’ve been a member here for YEARS NOW & I’ve witnessed this club go downhill… Lifetime keeps raising the membership prices but doesn’t offer more value in return! This club used to be open 24 Hours before Covid but they never brought it back. When I asked management why, they said they used those nightly hours to clean more but the cleanliness of the sauna, dry sauna & hot tubs are absolutely disgusting‼️OVER PRICED & DIRTY‼️👎🏼👎🏼

Hands down the best gym in the area. Has everything you need and more. It does cost more, but you get your money worth from the state of the art equipment, customer service and amentities. The photos on the LifeTime website doesn't do this gym justice. It is a lot bigger than you would expect! Ask for Bailey, he will give you the grand tour and not try to sell you anything you don't need. Fantastic customer service. Highly recommend.

Lifetime is taking advantage of seniors , Medicare has covered the cost until 2024 at which time they charge more for seniors to be able to come to the gym before 9:30 AM and they schedule most of the Aurora classes before 9:30.

Been coming to this gym now for over 2 years consistently. I bring my now 3 year old son with me. We are there maybe 4 times per week. Everyone in the daycare has been kind to my son that i've noticed, and I realize he isn't the easiest child. I genuinely like everyone i've come in contact with at the child center. I was a bit disappointed yesterday as they wrote a behavior report for him and he was suspended for 3 days after going potty outside on the grass turf (oops, he's potty training.) Not a lot of grace there... but I do understand their side as well. If you have young ones that like to push buttons and you're a regular gym goer, it might be challenging with the child center behavior policies. Overall my experience there has been great! Front desk is always so kind and welcoming. Cleaning crew is friendly. Trainers always have a smile and the gym is imo, clean. It does get very busy 9-11 and the child center feels crowded, especially during the cold months when they aren't able to go outside. I'd feel comfortable recommending this gym to anyone!
