O'Keefe Gym

Located at 151 Sixth Street NW, Atlanta, GA 30313, O'Keefe Gym has been the dedicated home of the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets volleyball team since 1995. Renowned for its rowdy atmosphere, excellent sightlines, and loud acoustics, it stands as one of the premier volleyball facilities in the Southeast.

Originally serving as the gymnasium for O'Keefe High School in the 1950s, the facility was acquired by Georgia Tech in the 1960s. Over the years, it has undergone significant renovations to enhance the experience for both athletes and spectators. Notably, a nearly $1 million renovation in 2006 introduced new home and visitor locker rooms, a coaches' lounge, training room, players' lounge, and a student-athlete study area. In 2017, the court was upgraded to a new Taraflex floor, the same type used in multiple Olympic Games, valued for its shock absorption and injury prevention properties. Additionally, during the 2018 season, a videoboard was installed, further elevating the match-day experience.

The gym's intimate setting fosters a vibrant and energetic environment, with fans passionately supporting the Yellow Jackets. The tradition of chanting "POINT TECH!" after each score exemplifies the community's enthusiasm and dedication to the team.
