Our coaches take the time to understand your individual objectives, providing personalized guidance in a supportive environment.
Facilities and Services:
- Small Group Training: Participate in classes with a maximum of 24 people, ensuring individualized support, form feedback, and goal-hitting tips.
- High-Intensity Workouts: Engage in high-intensity interval training (HIIT) to improve endurance and cardiovascular output, combining floor exercises with cardio machines like rowers, skiers, and bikes.
- Strength Training: Focus on upper and lower body strength using barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells, and bodyweight exercises.

Jared and Michael are wonderful coaches. As an example, they know * every * member by name! The workouts are hard but safe and the coaches provide lots of supervision. It’s an inclusive place, with an impressive (and inspiring!) diversity in gender, age, and fitness levels. If you’re on the fence, drop in for a workout! You won’t regret it.

I went to other 2 CrossFits in SF to see which one is more convenient for me since I am a beginner and I felt no support and they were not warm or welcoming people, I felt lost as a beginner. Instead, today was my first day trying P13, Jared was so nice, he was even about to start the class and took a moment to help me out and welcome me, he paid attention if I was doing well and helped me out which is what I need because when you’re new at something, you feel kinda lost but he was good at explaining again the exercise. He is a good instructor and I like that he took a moment to meet me. Please keep it like that, nice, supportive and friendly so beginners don’t feel lost when working out. Thanks Jared!

I love project 13. I have been working the founders, Thomas and Nate, for over 3 years and really love the workouts, challenge, and environment they've created. All workouts are different and are the perfect mix of cardio, strength and mobility work. Their goal is to individualize each day to your personal goals and train for longevity

The best gym, community and workout you'll find in SF! Being new into San Francisco; joining Project 13 has been the best decision I've made since moving. Nate and Thomas are not only the nicest guys in the business - they also live and breathe what they do and no one does it better. Their passion is contagious both within a group and individual setting - with consistent focus on providing you the best experience possible every time you're in the gym. Their workouts are as equally thoughtful as they are challenging, and applicable for everyone. Don't hesitate!

Best strength-training workout class in the city! The trainers, Jared and Michael, are super friendly and make time to offer one on one adjustments and coaching, even when it is a full class. Therefore, the class (although tough!) is very tailorable to be beginner friendly, but also great for people that want to lift heavy. I always leave knowing that I’ll be sore the next day, but feeling accomplished as well.
