Customer Reviews

I signed up with EOS before it opened in Ladera not knowing what the gym would look like. I go there regularly, primarily to the Group Fitness classes. Each instructor is outstanding and most of the time the gym is clean. I am greeted by happy staff at the front desk and when I leave the gym they also say goodbye and have a nice day. Great value for my $$ and super instructors and staff. I also have the towel service which I am so thankful for.

Friendly staff. The sauna is great and not too cool like other gyms, it is always about 185 or so, as recommended by my doc! Great selection of machines and free weights, helpful, friendly staff, jacuzzi is not over-chlorinated as the ones at other gyms. I only wish they had a steam room and a cold plunge!

Been going here for a year and generally like this gym. But I had an absolutely awful experience with the personal training program. Spent a couple thousand dollars just for my trainers to constantly cancel and reschedule. Never even got to finish all the sessions I paid for. I continue to use the gym for the equipment. Asked to speak to the personal trainer manager today and was left at the front for an hour and a half, no one ever came to see me or even talk to me. And they had the nerve to charge me a 25 dollar "service fee" when my mother payment failed. Meanwhile they have tons of my money

What ever you do, DO NOT SIGN UP FOR PERSONAL TRAINING! The gym is decent but like everanything else lately, there's no customer service or accountability, which also might not be their fault. Turnover is so high that since joining the gym 5 months ago, I have met and spoken to many people who say the same thing. “That happened before I worked here, so let's start fresh and try to turn this experience into a positive one.” Great idea, but it hasn't happened. I have had multiple appointments cancelled or the trainer no shows. I also tried to get a new trainer multiple times because he was inappropriate, asking me to send updated pics in sports clothes where the results would be visible. Take that however you want; I know I was uncomfortable. When I requested a new trainer and keeping my complaints private I received a call from the trainer telling me I was weird for being uncomfortable and that I needed help to get in shape. Really weird incounter and instead of scheduling me with someone else I was forced to workout with him until he just never showed up again. Cancelling has been its own headache. They tell you to walk in and talk to the training specialist to cancel but your trainer can’t cancel and you have to go to the other guys and when I did they tried to sell me on more sessions but I was firm I wanted to cancel and the guy Nate said he cancelled and put in my 30 day notice. After about a month, I realized I was still being charged, and now I have to wait another 30 days to cancel. Theres no clear communication. I asked for emails or print outs and was told theres none. I then had to email on my own to get information in writing, and even then, I only got one email response and then a voicemail telling me to call. They do their best to keep zero evidence that you're trying to cancel. Good luck. Can’t wait for my sessions to be over so I can go back to a local gym. It might be a little pricey, but a smaller chain of command exists.

Eos is an Awesome place to work out. Always lots of energy and make it fun to push yourself past your limits. They take good care of the machines and rarely do you see ones out and when they are it’s for short periods of time. Bathrooms are clean and staff are always helpful.
