As a platform categorized as a GYM, VASA Fitness aims to offer a comprehensive fitness experience. However, customer reviews reveal mixed experiences, with positive feedback on workout classes and amenities contrasted by concerns about staff behavior and unexpected fees.

Positive aspects highlighted by customer reviews include:

  • Workout Classes: Popular workout classes, particularly those in Studio Flow, with instructors like Misty, Julia, and Mikilani praised.
  • Massage Chairs: Offers massage chairs as an amenity.
  • Clean Facilities: Pools and bathrooms are generally clean.
  • Helpful Staff (Membership): Staff is relatively helpful with membership questions.

However, customer reviews also highlight significant concerns:

  • Crowded Gym: The gym gets crowded quickly during busy hours.
  • Rude Staff: Reports of rude staff, particularly young males who are more interested in flirting than assisting members.
  • Unprofessional Behavior: Instances of staff engaging in unprofessional behavior, such as throwing paper airplanes at members.
  • Bullying Personal Trainers: Concerns about personal trainers using bully methods for motivation.
  • Unexpected Exit Fees: Complaints about being charged an exit fee after completing a two-year agreement.

Customers appreciate the workout classes and the massage chairs, which provide a positive fitness experience. The clean pools and bathrooms are also noted as positive aspects.

However, significant concerns are raised about the staff's behavior and the unexpected exit fees. The reports of rude and unprofessional staff, as well as bullying personal trainers, create a negative impression.

The unexpected exit fees after completing a contract are a major point of contention, leading to customer dissatisfaction and feelings of being unfairly treated.

VASA Fitness South Jordan is presented as a gym offering popular workout classes and amenities, but potential members should be aware of the concerns regarding staff behavior and unexpected fees. The gym is urged to address these issues to improve customer satisfaction and maintain a positive reputation.

I love the workout classes here, best part about this gym along with the massage chairs. It definitely gets crowded pretty quickly during busy hours. The pools and bathrooms are clean. The staff are relatively helpful with membership questions. I also love the new addition of Studio Flow. Misty, Julia, and Mikilani are fantastic instructors and really make the classes worth it!!!

Never join VASA! I completed my two year agreement and they still charged me an exit fee. There staff is always rude young males that care more about flirting with members than helping. Last time I was there one staff member kept throwing mini paper airplanes at me. The personal trainers try to employ bully methods for motivation. I had to pay too much to get away from them, which is sad but in the end worth it.

Love south Jordan location for studio flow. I’ve become obsessed with yoga under infrared lights. Mikilani is my favorite instructor! 🧘‍♀️♥️👏🏼

Absolute garbage gym. I’d give it a 0. Switching to eos. I went to cancel the stupid membership and only had it for a “free” month like the deal said in October. In order to cancel the membership, they charged me for the next 3 months, the entire year (80$), plus the 25$cancellation fee (which is fine). Garbage equipment and garbage company. Super unsanitary inside. Waste of 100+ dollars

$300 per month is not worth it. I get gyms are notorious for making it impossible to cancel but this one takes the prize. My wife signed up with our son and got a personal trainer package. They went with the personal trainer twice but then he couldn't accommodate their schedule and no one else could so it was a waste and they decided to cancel. She had to call over 6 times to cancel and then they charged us an additional $500 that we were not aware of. Just make sure you really want to commit to this long term if you sign up with them, otherwise it will end up being more than $300/month. That's how much we ended up having to pay for 3 months if you add up all their little fees, etc.
