Amped Fitness (Doral)

Forget these low reviews, they be lying. This gym is amazing. It’s got everything you need & more! Is it a little worn down here & there? Yea, a little. But don’t forget, this is Doral and these gym goers are not kind to the machines & equipment. My whole workout I saw them not wiping down equipment, not racking their weights & or putting them in the wrong spot. Seems more like a client issue than the gym itself. Amped is the best!

Terrible experience, always packed to the point you can’t even work out. Weights are never organized how they promise and staff doesn’t do anything to keep things In order. Worst customer service experience I have ever received. Tried to cancel my membership after months of not using and was told I need to waste time and go into the gym to cancel. They do not disclose this information when signing you up to the gym. Extremely shady

If you like ghetto, dirty and cheap, this gym is for you. The horrible music is blasting so loud, you barely can hear your partner. They use reuseable towels to clean down machines (disgusting) doesn’t make sense to wipe down machines with dirty rags. More than half the cardio machines don’t work. It’s overly packed (makes sense it’s dirt cheap). The machines you can tell were bought used because they’re rusty and don’t work properly (this gym location is fairly new just a few years old). Many machine dont work. The girl with the nose piercing in the front is beyond rude. The curly hair girl makes up for her rudeness. Oh a few days the bathrooms were closed, for some work being done. They’re always handyman in the way at the gym (because it’s just a cheap bad not renovated gym) They will forsure be the next gym at the location to close down. Many nicer gyms within 5 mins in Doral. Dont waste your energy coming here.

I gave this gym a chance and even went for a while, over a year, and during that time the staff was completely unprofessional as to the point that I rather use the back entrance just to avoid speaking to them. Asking the employees for anything was like begging for attention, they ignore you and make you feel uninvited. I thought when you paid for a service, you would at least deserve a 'Hi' or 'Hello' open entering but all you get is an entitled look of you dont belong here. The machines are always broken, the downstairs room with the spinning bikes is just a scam, and the disorder and lack of organization is all over the place. No respect or appreciation for paying members at all. If I could give it negative stars I would.

Do your best to do the membership in person and not online!! AND HAVE THE PAYMENTS EXPLAINED TO YOU WELL. If you cancel, they force you to pay the next month and also the annual fee... EVEN IF YOU HAVEN'T EVEN BEEN A MONTH WITH THE MEMBERSHIP. With all this, one of the guys at the reception tried to trick me by taking advantage of my poor knowledge of English!! Anyway... entering is all happiness... leaving is the worst.
