Crunch Fitness - San Lorenzo Introduce

Crunch Fitness - San Lorenzo, located at 177 Lewelling Blvd, San Lorenzo, CA 94580, is a gym that falls under the GYM platform category, offering fitness facilities and personal training services. You can contact them at (510) 924-4200 or +1 510-924-4200.

Based on customer reviews, Crunch Fitness - San Lorenzo has received mixed feedback, particularly regarding its membership policies and customer service.

On the positive side, personal trainer Josue is highly praised for his ability to tailor training sessions to individual needs and limitations. Customers appreciate his attentive approach and personalized service.

The gym itself is described as decent, although it tends to get crowded during afternoon and evening hours, which is a common occurrence in many gyms.

However, there are significant concerns regarding the gym's membership policies, specifically concerning 3-day passes. Customers have reported instances where they signed up for a 3-day pass, received confirmation, and then were denied access upon arrival, with staff claiming the gym no longer offers such passes. This inconsistency and lack of communication have led to accusations of "bait and switch" tactics.

Customers express frustration with the gym's refusal to honor confirmed passes and the pressure to make immediate membership decisions without a trial period. This has deterred potential members who prefer to try the gym before committing to a full membership.

In summary, Crunch Fitness - San Lorenzo offers commendable personal training services with Josue, but potential members should be aware of reported issues with inconsistent membership policies and potential crowding during peak hours.

Josue is a great trainer. He listens to my concerns and limitations then tailored the training according to my needs. The gym is decent, can get crowded in the afternoon and evening, but that's the norm.

Don't sign up if you are looking to try them out first. I signed up for a 3-day pass, received an email saying the pass was valid for 3-days, got a call from an employee saying I signed up for a 3- day pass. However, when I get to the gym later that day, the front desk said they don't do 3-day passes anymore. I showed them the email and he said there wasn't anything he could do. Sorry, but I'm not going to waste time being shown around before I work out and then be asked to make a decision. 3-days is good so I can get in an upper and lower day before I decide. Truly a bait and switch.

One of the main reasons I chose San Lorenzo Crunch Fitness is their commitment to the philosophy of a "no judgment" environment. What truly sets this gym apart as a judgment-free zone is the outstanding leadership of the management team, as a positive culture starts at the top and flows throughout the organization. Let’s be realistic: no place is perfect, and every gym may have its bad apples. That’s where the nickname “Karen” came from right?? But that’s where strong management makes a difference. The gym is spacious and equipped with top-quality machines, making it an excellent choice for serious bodybuilders. The staff is consistently attentive, ensuring the equipment is clean and promptly repaired when needed. Overall, I would rate this gym 5 stars. Let's stay focused on our goals and enjoy the process! -Aaron

Gym is fine, but when you cancel they will charge you an annual fee of 50 for next year regardless and if you don’t give them a 10 days ahead of next billing cycle you will also be billed for an extra month, that’s how they get you so be aware. You are better if going with 24 hour they have no annual fee and when I canceled they gave me money back for unbilled dates

Terrible customer service. The general manager JEFF is extremely rude and condescending. The other team members are always too busy to greet you because they’re having personal conversations at the front desk. And the Asian trainer is always mugging you. The only kind employee is Ryan. The gym is not well maintained. The women’s restrooms are consistently dirty and machines are always out of order but yet you pay a $50 yearly fee to keep the gym maintained. LMAO. Highly don’t recommend this gym.
