Georgia Tech Campus Recreation Center Introduce

Located at 750 Ferst Dr, Atlanta, GA 30332, the Georgia Tech Campus Recreation Center (CRC) is a premier fitness and wellness facility dedicated to promoting health and well-being within the Georgia Tech community and beyond.

The CRC boasts state-of-the-art fitness equipment, including a wide array of cardio and strength training machines, free weights, and functional training areas. Members can enjoy access to a six-court gymnasium suitable for basketball, volleyball, and badminton, as well as an indoor climbing wall for those seeking a vertical challenge.

One of the standout features of the CRC is its world-class aquatic facilities. The McAuley Aquatic Center, originally built for the 1996 Summer Olympics, includes a ten-lane, 50-meter competition pool with adjustable bulkheads and a movable floor to accommodate various activities. Additionally, there's a separate diving well equipped with springboards and a five-level dive tower. For leisure and relaxation, the Vernon D. and Helen D. Crawford Pool offers recreational lap lanes, a lazy river, water slide, and spa amenities.

The CRC offers a comprehensive range of services to cater to diverse fitness needs. Members can participate in group fitness classes such as yoga, Pilates, high-intensity interval training (HIIT), and dance. Certified personal trainers are available to develop customized workout plans tailored to individual goals. The facility also provides massage therapy services to aid in recovery and relaxation.

Beyond traditional fitness offerings, the CRC encourages adventure and leadership development through its Outdoor Recreation Georgia Tech (ORGT) program. This initiative offers outdoor gear rentals, adventure trips, and a Leadership Challenge Course designed to foster teamwork and personal growth.

Operating hours are designed to accommodate various schedules, with the facility open from early morning until late evening on weekdays, and adjusted hours on weekends. For the most current hours and additional information, please visit the CRC's official website.

I love this campus. It has evolved so beautifully over the last 28 years since I was a student. Wish I could go back. The people and students are amazing there. Go Jackets!

CRC is a world-class sports facility. It has: an olympic swimming pool, an olympic diving pool, a recreational pool with slides, a fully-equipped gym, a climbing wall, 6 basketball courts, two racquetball courts, one squash court, one badminton course, one golf simulator, several flexible studios for training group sports, a spinning studio, combat studios, vending machines, rest and study areas, a food court, an outdoor sun deck, and several help desks where you can borrow all the equipment necessary. It is a jewel for Georgia Tech students, staff, and alumni and their families.

Amazing facility. World class aquatics center (1996 Olympics were here). Not cheap unless you have an affiliation with the school. See attached price list, photo taken Sept. 2024.

This is an excellent gym with all the equipment and facilities I need. All GT students know this already and I know many alumni who maintain an alumni membership after graduation particularly if you want to swim. Things can get pretty busy in the evenings as with any gym but there is plenty of space to get a workout in anyway. I’ve also rented portions of the facility for events and it has always been an excellent experience. The staff has been professional and more than helpful during planning and execution of the event. Parking can be a bit of a pain but as long as your guests know ahead of time we haven’t had many complaints.

Forced to pay semester fees for a gym that barely have enough space and equipment to support 40k+ students. 1 leg extension machine? Seriously... Please allow grad students to decide whether or not subscribe to enroll at this gym.
